Foreign Minister highlights government work in Cuba's foreign policy

Havana, November 29 - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez stated that he highlighted the government's work during 2025 to support the efforts and actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the closing of the 2025 Foreign Policy Workshop, I acknowledged the work of provincial and municipal governments in the implementation of Cuba's Foreign Policy and their priorities, he notified via a message on X.

Rodríguez reported that the event included an exchange about the international and regional context, marked by the serious threat to peace, security, and stability in Latin America and the Caribbean posed by the offensive military deployment of the United States in the Caribbean Sea.

He also commented on the results of the overwhelming vote against the blockade at the UN and the support for our government's economic management.

Other topics discussed, according to the text published on the social network, were the participation of Cubans living abroad in the country's development, and the opportunities offered by integration into blocs like BRICS and the development of relations with our main partners.

"We highlighted the continuity of our Foreign Policy, heir to the ideas of Martí and Fidel, led by Raúl and Díaz-Canel," also stressed the head of Cuban diplomacy. (Text and photo: PL)
