
Camagüey, Dec 9 – Camagüey receives a significant boost in the auditing specialty with the graduation of 25 mid-level technicians in economics, who have completed their training period to join this important work related to control exercises.
From April until this month of December, the 20 girls and 5 boys, all from most of the municipalities in the province, received several subjects that put them in a position to perform the functions of auditor.
The organization of the course, held at the Máximo Gómez Institute Polytechnic, had the advisory support of the professional technical education directorate, the Central Internal Audit Unit of the Government, and the training area of the Provincial Comptroller's Office.
Nereisy Gutiérrez Labrada, Social Programs Coordinator of the Government in the territory, emphasized the importance of the auditors' work at a time when the country needs to deepen efforts in the economic field.
Among other authorities present at the ceremony were Roberto Conde, member of the Provincial Party Bureau; Yennis León Mayedo, vice-governor; and Reynold Pérez Fonticoba, deputy comptroller general of the Comptroller General's Office.
