Camagüey, December 24 - Specialized forces, along with the National Revolutionary Police (PNR, for its acronym in Spanish), carried out a search of a house in the La Villa neighborhood, Los Coquitos suburb, in the city of Camagüey, as part of ongoing efforts to protect state resources.
According to the PNR's social media profile, Héroes de Azul (Heroes in Blue), the operation resulted in the seizure of 20-liter containers of fuel, as well as other containers and accessories allegedly intended for the illegal extraction and sale of fuel.
The investigations indicated the involvement of individuals in the systematic diversion of resources allocated to the provincial railway sector, which prompted the intervention of the authorities.
The National Revolutionary Police (PNR) reaffirmed its commitment to protecting national heritage and warned of the legal penalties faced by those involved in the receiving and illicit sale of state property.
The institution emphasized that citizen cooperation is essential to identifying and eliminating these criminal practices. (ACN) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
