MINFAR calls for registration of young men born in 2010

Havana, Dec 26. - The Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR) has called on young men born in 2010 to formalize their registration in the Military Registry between January and March 2026, in compliance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 224 on Military Service, the newspaper Granma specified.

Registration constitutes the first step for subsequent incorporation into Active Military Service and reflects the willingness to prepare for the defense of the Homeland.

The process will be carried out in the Service Area corresponding to the place of residence or another designated location, on the days and times established by the provincial and municipal military committees.

Each young man must present his identity card or minor's card and will receive the registration receipt as proof, in accordance with current regulations.

MINFAR clarified that the call is part of the annual planning of Military Service and ensures the organization of the process throughout the national territory. (Text and photo: ACN)
