Fire reported around the Ñico López refinery in Havana

Havana, February 14 - During the afternoon of this Friday, a fire was reported in the vicinity of the Ñico López refinery in Havana, according to multiple posts on social media.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines reported on its account on X that the fire in one of the warehouses had been controlled, and the causes were being investigated.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines added that after six in the evening, operations at the Ñico López Refinery continued normally. The fire that occurred today was quickly controlled and did not spread to other areas, only affecting the warehouse that contained outdated products.
