Cuba warns of increase in military spending in the United States

Havana, Dec 27.- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez warned of the growth in military spending for 2026 under the United States National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

In a post on the social network X, the foreign minister highlighted that this amount reaches 901 million dollars*, a record in the history of that country.

"The plutocracy and the warmongering rulers seek to sustain, with more taxpayer funds, the discredited doctrine of 'peace through strength,' re-driving the arms race, aggressions against sovereign countries, and the usurpation of strategic natural resources from the people," Rodríguez expressed.

Likewise, he accused the government of sidelining citizen requests and forgetting electoral commitments, while financing an extremely offensive strategy and seeking to unearth the discredited Monroe Doctrine with an aggressive corollary against "Our America."(PL) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
