Cubanacan: A commitment to tourism quality and sustainability


Havana, Dec 27. - After a year of numerous international accolades and concrete projects, the Cubanacan Hotel Group reaffirms its commitment to quality and sustainability in tourism.

During the presentation of initiatives for the upcoming year 2026, Yaima Suárez, Vice President of Marketing for the entity, thanked tour operators, partners, and the specialized press for their support during this concluding year, which she described as productive.

The executive announced that in April, just before the International Tourism Fair (FitCuba), the third edition of Motivos Cubanacan will take place. This event serves as a reunion space to experience the authenticity of the Cuban destination firsthand through the hotel chain and its namesake travel agency.

The itinerary will focus on sun and beach destinations in Eastern Cuba and heritage values, concluding in Varadero, the host site of FitCuba, which will be dedicated to Canada.

In the presence of Gipsy Hernández Perdomo, President of Cubanacan, and other tourism sector executives, the Vice President of Marketing announced this Friday night the opening of a new restaurant in Gibara, Holguín province, a new brand specialized in typical regional food, and the "Brisas route"—integrated circuits created through strategic alliances with tour operators and travel agents.

Yaima Suárez recognized hotel facilities in Havana, Varadero, and Holguín that received multiple awards in 2025. These high international honors validate their quality and environmental management, achieved through intensive periods of work.

The Vice President noted that 2026 will see Cubanacan focusing its efforts on sun, beach, and nature, with new goals that will be achieved collectively. (Source: ACN)
