Camagüey Educators condemn US aggression against Venezuela

Florida, Camagüey, Nov 7. - During a special morning meeting held at the General Directorate of Education in Florida, education authorities and sector workers strongly condemned the recent US military aggression against Venezuela.

The event, convened as a show of solidarity, focused its criticism on unilateral coercive measures and actions that violate the sovereignty of the South American nation. During the meeting, they categorically demanded an end to what they described as political persecution and the immediate return of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, to their country.

The speakers argued that the US judicial accusations against them are part of a campaign of destabilization against the legitimately constituted government.

The morning meeting was defined as a space for revolutionary reaffirmation and fraternity with the brotherly Venezuelan people, highlighting the importance of unity and resistance in the face of imperialism, and unwavering support for the Bolivarian Revolution and its right to self-determination without external interference.

The space served to ratify Cuba's stance in defense of International Law and the principles of non-intervention; it was also an opportune moment to express condolences to the families of the 32 Cuban combatants killed during the US military incursion.

The commitment to continue denouncing the economic blockade against the largest of the Antilles and any similar form of aggression against other nations was reaffirmed, closing with slogans of support for Venezuela and its sovereignty. (Text: Luis Ortiz Chaviano/Radio Florida) (Photo: Internet)
