Camagüey, Jan 15. - Strengthening the organic work of the Cuban Workers Union (CTC, for its acronym in Spanish) and its unions is an essential task for the workers' organization in the capital of this province for the present year of 2026.
First, the focus will be on filling vacant positions, both in the Municipal Secretariat and in the various grassroots structures, for which the preparation of leaders and their reserves is indispensable.
Equally, one of the objectives to follow is the analysis and discussion of the Plan of the Economy and the Budget for the current period, aligned with the reality experienced by the country and the territory, a process that will begin next February.
The perennial fight against criminal activities, illegalities, corruption; as well as the payment of membership dues constitute permanent tasks for the ongoing work of the labor movement in the city of Camagüey.
