Camagüey, Feb 13.- The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in this province is working to strengthen all its structures, an objective that seeks to improve current results to achieve a position in the country's emulative vanguard.
According to the program designed in stages, the phase covering until April foresees that leadership bodies in the territories will increase, through working groups, exchanges in the municipalities aimed at guiding and identifying both strengths and weaknesses.
For the period from May to July, emphasis will be placed on family values, as an essential element within our society, focused on the importance of highlighting their values in the formation of new generations.
Special attention will be given to carrying out recreational activities, leveraging community projects, without losing sight of articulating mechanisms that influence greater integration of young women into the organization.
Issues such as the defense of the Homeland, and food production with the presence of women, whether in state entities, collective plots, or backyards, cannot be neglected.
It is important, specified in her presentation YudithFerreiro, Director of the Center for Women's Studies, to promote a culture of saving through the efficient use of electrical energy, extend the use of biogas where possible, and work on preventing incompatible behaviors within society.
In the period from August to November, among the main motivations is the celebration of the Centenary of the birth of Fidel, whose figure drives all the special actions of the FMC, which consolidates its leading role in the historical circumstances of the Cuban nation.
Provincial Plenums should recognize the base structures and delegations with the best results, as necessary progress is impossible without adequate encouragement for those women with a very high contribution, in these times of great complexity.
The Guidance Houses should contribute to the promotion of values such as solidarity, Anti-imperialism, respect, and harmony in civic coexistence.
Due attention to dysfunctional families cannot be neglected either, and in this regard, a call was made to seek alternatives that allow their adequate reintegration into society.
AnielkaFernández del Monte, member of the National Secretariat of the FMC, highlighted the decisive role this organization plays, its continued relevance, and called for strengthening the permanent connection and support to municipal cadres, as part of the unity demanded by these new times.
"We must set ourselves," she said, "more commitments that involve us and lead us towards local development, adhering to the purpose of fulfilling our public policies on employment and even access to new technologies."
Yudiet Castellanos, general secretary of the organization in Camagüey, stated that the women of Camagüey will continue to dedicate themselves to the main tasks and missions, with the same will and firmness that has always characterized them.
During the meeting, many of the good practices adopted in the period were presented, an experience that requires systematicity in daily work. (Gilberto Rodríguez Rivero/Radio Cadena Agramonte Contributor) (Photo: Taken from misiones cubaminrex.cu)
