Nuevitas, Camagüey, Mar 2.- The Bank of Credit and Commerce (Bandec, by its acronym in Spanish) in this municipality of Camagüey is making it possible to obtain loans for the installation of electricity generation systems using solar panels.
Alexis Pérez Varona, commercial manager, commented that the beneficiaries must be workers from the Education and Health sectors, with prior authorization from their sector management.
So far, only three locals have gone to the Bandec branch to request this financing option.
"They can access bank loans, but if they have the money on their magnetic card, they can pay using the Transfermóvil app by scanning the supplier's QR code, which in this case is Copextel," he noted.
The use of solar energy promotes energy independence, reduces electricity costs, and contributes to environmental care, crucial benefits to face the limitations imposed by the United States blockade, which affects the availability of fuel and resources.
These efforts are an important step towards a more sustainable and autonomous future for the community. (Arianna Suárez Torres/Radio Nuevitas) (Photo: Taken from Internet)
