Camagüey, June 16.- The local development project SERVIPINT, from the municipality of Sierra de Cubitas, and the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the provincial capital, made a donation to victims of the recent floods who still remain protected in the Camp of Pioneers Explorers Ernesto Che Guevara, in the city of Camagüey.

The delivery of food, pots of paint and other resources collected in the Previsora ??popular council, in the City of Tinajones, were part of the sensitive initiative.

Juan Jesús García Arango, one of the people from Camagüey who lost the roof of his home due to heavy rainfall, expressed feeling calm because he trusts in the work of the Cuban Revolution and in the support provided by the Government in the province.

Yudelki Olivera, director of the aforementioned social institution, thanked the cubiteños for their altruistic gesture and highlighted the positive impact on the 57 people who continue to stay there due to the complex situation of their homes.

In the same way, Alexander Marín Castellanos, representative of the SERVIPINT local development project, affirmed that another of the tasks they support is the constructive improvement of the home of a family in a vulnerable situation, equally affected by the abundant rains of days gone by.
