Cuban Foreign Minister denounces chaos in U.S. and aggression against sovereignties (+ Post)

Havana, Jan 13.- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez today denounced that the United States government is facing growing rejection within its own territory due to what he described as chaotic and fascist domestic governance, evidenced by protests in multiple cities.

On the social network X, the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that, while domestic opposition intensifies, Washington maintains a foreign policy aimed at undermining the sovereignty of independent states and threatening international stability and security.

Rodríguez stated that the U.S. government promotes hatred and violence among its population, commits serious human rights violations against hundreds of thousands of migrants, and disregards commitments made to its own electorate.

Thousands of people marched this weekend in New York under slogans such as "Hands off Venezuela!" and "ICE out of our communities!", in rejection of President Donald Trump's immigration policies and the military attack on January 3rd against Venezuela, which left more than a hundred dead and culminated in the kidnapping of President NicolásMaduro and his wife Cilia Flores, who are currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

The protests, convened by The People's Forum, also expressed outrage over the killing of Renee Nicole Good by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis.

The organization announced national mobilizations for January 20th, the first anniversary of Trump's inauguration, demanding the abolition of ICE and an end to U.S. intervention in Latin America. "From Minneapolis to Caracas, the violence of the ruling class knows no borders," it stated. (Source: Prensa Latina)
