Embrace peace, message against violence

Each January 30 is a call for peace and non-violence, a show of support to the pacifism that both reclaim the humanity. Campaigns, programs to combat this scourge in all its manifestations, social movements and other initiatives on a global scale, are the main actions of this day.

There are many examples of violence: wars that have undermined the freedom of peoples; social prejudices which take precedence over the human tolerance and sensitivity; organized crime, and many other expressions of hatred that arise in remote places on the planet.

Thanks to figures like Mahatma Gandhi or John Lennon, the architects of the peace at the global level, the will to achieve a better world has been extended as a right and not an unrealizable dream. Peace has to be a condition of life and not a single word.

Therefore, you don't have to wait for a specific day to embrace the harmony. A good gesture, to help others, a greeting, fraternal dialog, friendship, love, respect, solidarity… are also necessary samples of what we can do on a daily basis, and without effort, to send to the world the message of peace.
