Every May 1st is a day of celebration in Cuba because the International Workers' Day is a victory for the working class, the protagonist of an inclusive and fair society.
On this occasion, the large gatherings that from dawn wandered the streets and avenues of the national territory are replaced by smiles from home and flags on windows, doors and balconies.
The celebration of the world proletariat is marked by the social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, but even so, the disease does not overshadow the celebration and the photos that we present are reliable proof that in Camagüey the essence of this day is not lost.
