Fidel lives in every achievement

Cuba after 1959 underwent a radical change in every way. The allegation History will absolve me, by Fidel Castro, became a political and social program of the Revolution, and which was pronounced in the form of self-defense before the courts of dictator Batista after the assault on the Moncada on July 26, 1953, has materialized in the achievements of health, sports, education, and others.

Under the leadership of our Fidel, Cuba, from a mediatized neocolony, went on to become a champion of international progress. The redistribution of wealth, the emancipation of young people, the empowerment of women, the end of the latifundia, the improvement of the quality of life, and the establishment of a system of popular democracy, are Cuban victories.

Abroad, the Cuban Revolution has been characterized by its solidarity, active involvement in the national liberation struggles of other peoples, and the contribution to the articulation of alternative alliances that guarantee the interests of the peoples of the Third World.

A reliable example, among the many thousands that can be mentioned to illustrate the aforementioned, is the cooperation of the Henry Reeve International Medical Brigade, which goes around the world saving thousands of lives from the scourge of Covid-19.

That is the best way to honor Fidel's legacy. Therefore, on the 94th anniversary of his birth, we reaffirm our will to resist. There's no giving up here. (Text: Jorge Enrique Fuentes Ruiz / Radio Cadena Agramonte) (Photos: Humberto Cid González)
