Local Cardiovascular Care Center reaches 20 years

The Camagüey Cardiovascular Care Center celebrates its 20 years this November 15, with constant learning and excellence in service, ensured by 17 highly prestigious specialists and 16 residents of the specialty of Cardiology, all in close relationship with the patients.

Belonging to the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital, the site is part of the Central Cardiological Network and has an intensive therapy room and an intermediate room, with a total of 27 beds, where cases of acute coronary syndrome are treated, above all.

Each year, the facility places between 200 and 300 pacemakers that protect the lives of patients, some of the highest numbers in the country, with very good results in terms of reducing risks and the positive effects for those who receive them.
