Nurseries in Cuba: 60 years of a work of love

This April 10 will not be a day of costumes and parties as it usually happens in Cuban children's circles every year from early hours in Cuba. The danger that COVID-19 represents for collective health has taken away that possibility but nothing can limit the celebration this year of a date as special as the 60th anniversary of the creation of those institutions that have become, in their own right, houses full of magic.

This achievement that emerged 60 years ago, exactly on April 10, 1961, by the idea of ??Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and with the encouragement of Vilma Espín, deserves our most infinite recognition and gratitude.
