Plaza del Carmen: emblematic place full of traditions and Cuban culture

For those who come to the city of Camagüey, their visit is almost mandatory, for those of us who love this princely city it is the perfect place where we delight ourselves with a unique framework.

And it is that the Plaza del Carmen, in addition to being one of the best-preserved urban settings in terms of architecture, is a beautiful place full of traditions, culture and Cubanness.

The sculptural figures of the renowned Camagüey artist Martha Jiménez give it a stamp of originality and it is one of the places that gathers the largest audience in search of authentic and Creole photographs.

Talking with the gossipers, sitting in the empty chair and making a wish, trying to decipher what the newspaper says or dreaming about the love professed by the lovers there, is the atmosphere that recreates a square that is steeped in customs and a lot of history. (Dayessi García Sosa / Radio Cadena Agramonte) (Photos: Humberto Cid / Radio Cadena Agramonte)
