Camagüey, May 25 - Data analytics and its application in social research became the central axis of the conference given this Wednesday by Dr.C. Julio Madera Quintana at the Social Sciences symposium of the Third International Scientific and Technological Convention, held at the "Nuevo Mundo" Hall in this city.
The expert emphasized the importance of data analytics and Data Science as a multidisciplinary approach that combines principles and practices from the fields of Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, enabling scientists to analyze large amounts of data.
Madera Quintana also shared with the audience new aspects related to the application of Artificial Intelligence to Social Sciences as well as the incidence of Social Sciences in the search for an ethical and responsible artificial intelligence.
He also outlined various aspects of the use of new technologies in the educational context as well as different tools such as CHATGPT, an Artificial Intelligence system designed to maintain conversations through written text, highlighting the challenges that these pose for the pedagogical field.
