Camagüey, July 17 – During a recent tour of the city, opinions gathered about the new Fotón minibuses service, which operate on two routes throughout the city, indicated high public acceptance.
The interviews conducted reflected the sentiment of the people, emphasizing the comfort of the vehicles, affordable fares, the usefulness of the roads, short wait times, and maximum use of the journey.
In this regard, many passengers expressed their desire for initiatives like this to be maintained and not to become like the Coco Taxis, which are only seen for rent and at high prices. They also emphasized the need to expand these services to other areas of the city of Camagüey and across the country.
When speaking with some of the drivers, they highlighted the comfort of the vehicle, which has a capacity for 14 passengers, and the importance of taking care of these vehicles, a task that everyone shares to ensure the service is prolonged.
