Camagüey, October 28.- Federico Hernández Hernández, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and first secretary in the province, evaluated the preparations for the next sugar harvest in the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes municipality.
During the exchange, the preparation of the land for sugarcane plantation was discussed. It was mentioned that of a plan of 351 hectares planned for the current campaign, only 50 are left to be planted to comply with the agreement.
In this context, it emerged that the territory plans to produce 20,130 tons of sugar in 102 days of the harvest. During this period, raw materials from the locality and from the areas of the Brazil, Agramonte and Argentina sugar mills will be used.
Hernández Hernández, called to comply with the established schedules, constantly supervise the repair and maintenance work, and ensure the technological conditions for the starting whistle in the coming month of December.
