Beirut, Nov 1. - The spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, Abu Ubaida, confirmed that the Palestinian resistance is confronting Israeli ground maneuvers in Gaza.
In statements broadcast here by the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen, the spokesperson emphasized that the fighters carried out infiltration operations and evaded Tel Aviv forces.
According to him, the Israeli soldiers carried out a ground incursion after adopting a scorched earth policy and caused great destruction through constant bombing.
In light of the confrontation, the Resistance executes deliberate retaliation and defense operations on all fronts.
So far, 22 Israeli military vehicles have been destroyed with Al-Yassin anti-armor projectiles, he said.
In this scenario, Abu Ubaida stated that the Al-Qassam navy was able to direct attacks against naval targets off the coast of Gaza using a remotely piloted torpedo.
Our defensive operations continue and we still have a lot to do, he stressed.
By the way, he called on all Palestinian soldiers and fighters to seize the opportunity and participate in this battle against Israel.
The Hamas representative informed the mediators of the movement's intention to release several foreigners in the coming days.
At the same time, he denounced the Tel Aviv government's desire to displace the Gazan people and cause great destruction to recover its image.
On the same day, the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, pointed out that the bombing of Gaza is greater than the nuclear bomb that the United States dropped on Hiroshima, and the Israeli aggression has the support of the Washington administration.
