Ramallah, May 9. - Israel committed 11,926 massacres in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the conflict, in October 2023, which caused more than 52,000 deaths and 10,000 missing, an official Palestinian source denounced today.
The Government Media Office in Gaza accused the neighboring country of carrying out genocide and ethnic cleansing in the territory, home to more than two million people.
It detailed that some 2,200 families in the area were completely exterminated and erased from the civil registry, while another 5,120 only have a single member alive.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) murdered some 18,000 minors in the coastal enclave, although only 16,270 were taken to hospitals, it stated.
According to the institution, 311 babies were born and lost their lives during the war and another 908 who died were less than one year old.
To date, 57 deaths have been recorded due to malnutrition and 17 due to low temperatures in refugee camps for those displaced by IDF attacks, it detailed.
The Office reported that 12,400 women were killed in the Gaza Strip, as well as 1,411 health personnel, 113 Civil Defense personnel, and at least 214 media workers.
The data indicates that more than 119,000 Palestinians were injured during the military offensive, of whom 17,000 require long-term rehabilitation and 4,700 suffered amputations.
The agency revealed that the IDF has attacked the southern Al-Mawasi area at least 83 times since October 2023, even though the country declared the area a safe zone.
Currently, 41,000 minors in Gaza live without their parents or one of them, while 14,500 women have lost their husbands, it stressed. (Text and photo: PL)
