Syrian army seizes weapons from Israel and the United States at terrorist sites

Damascus, Nov 3.- Joint units of the Army and Security Forces managed to seize enormous quantities of weapons and ammunition, some manufactured by the United States and Israel, in the south of this Levantine nation.

According to security officials, the occupation of the military equipment was thanks to information and collaboration from local residents about the terrorists' hiding places and underground warehouses in the towns of Jasem and Nasssin in the provinces of Deraa and Quneitra, about 100 kilometers north. south of this capital.

Among the weapons seized are hundreds of automatic rifles, pistols equipped with silencers, RPG launchers, PKC machine guns, sniper rifles, anti-tank projectiles, mortars, LAW and Drakon guided missiles and hand grenades.

The military revealed that several members of the Islamic States terrorist group Daesh in Arabic were captured in the area.
