Madrid, Nov 6.- The Platform of Women Artists against Gender Violence and the Spanish-Palestinian Jerusalem Association will present a manifest against the Israeli genocide in Gaza on Tuesday at the Palestinian embassy here.
The Palestinian ambassador here, Husni Abdel, will participate in the event where the world of Spanish culture will condemn the massacre and the inaction in the face of the genocide, according to a press release.
The manifest was signed by more than 200 artists and cultural personalities and will be presented by thirty of them to demand an immediate ceasefire and the urgent opening of humanitarian corridors.
It will also ask the Spanish government to act so that all violations of Human Rights are sanctioned.
The document also rejects any forced displacement of the Palestinian population and calls for an immediate end to attacks by settlers in the occupied territories of the West Bank.
Among the signatories of the manifesto who will present it are Marisa Paredes, Juan Diego Boto, Emma Suárez, Montxo Armendáriz, Rozalen, Inmael Serrano, among others. (Text and photo: ACN)
