Addis Ababa, Nov 19.- “You are also children of Cuba, even if you were not born in it,” assured the member of the Political Bureau and vice president of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, to the friends of solidarity in this country. who met this Sunday afternoon at the Friendship Memorial Park between Ethiopia and Cuba, to honor the soldiers of both nations who lost their lives on African soil.

We are very proud that here, he highlighted, those who studied in Cuba recognize themselves as Ethiopian-Cubans and are today “the main architects of the solidarity movement with our country in this sister land and actively accompany our fight against the blockade.”

In front of the murals where the photographs and names of the 163 Cubans who fell on this African soil are found, the Vice President of the Republic placed offerings.
