Cuban President visited the headquarters of the Granma newspaper


Havana, April 5.- Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, today toured the headquarters of the Granma newspaper to learn about the renovation process carried out there recently.

During the visit, the president also participated in the inauguration of the Little Expeditionary Children's House, created in the center to support and facilitate the lives of parents with young children, noted a report on the Granma site.

This is the first time that Díaz-Canel, in his capacity as Head of State, visits this newspaper, which between 2023 and the first months of 2024 was the subject of constructive work that reconfigured the spaces with a more modern approach and comfort.

The note highlights that, as part of the restructuring, a newsroom was created on the third floor of the building that integrates the areas of National, International, Sports, Culture, Photography and Multimedia.

In dialogue with the workers, the president called on them to grow in the production processes, innovating and integrating new forms of communication into their dynamics. (Text and photo: ACN)
