Ministries of the Interior of Cuba and Russia sign cooperation plan

Moscow, April 23.- An important meeting between the Ministers of the Interior of Russia, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, and of Cuba, Lázaro Alberto Álvarez, culminated in this capital with the signing of a cooperation plan, the RenTV channel reported today.

The document aims to work to strengthen the fight against crime, the exchange of experiences and the training of personnel, and is an example of the effectiveness of cooperation between the organizations of the two countries in the difficult international environment, Kolokoltsev highlighted.

We are forced by life itself to work in very close contact, by all interacting structures, because the West has never calmed down and will never calm down in its desire to somehow limit the development of our states, the Russian minister added.

Kolokoltsev noted that Cuba remains a reliable partner of Russia, and that cooperation has already yielded great results.
Álvarez, for his part, also held a meeting in Moscow with the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, with whom he discussed issues of Russian-Cuban cooperation in the area of ??security forces and justice bodies. (Text and photo: PL)
