Camagüey, April 27.- Alternatives to counteract the lack of some raw materials are put into practice in the Estrella Roja Base Business Unit, belonging to the Camagüey Fishing Company (PESCACAM).
Edel Pérez Escalona, ??head of the Forming Plant, stated that due to the limitations with wheat flour, cassava and rice powder is used as a substitute in the preparation of various assortments.
He specified that fish croquettes and minced meat are currently made with the use of freshwater fish and vegetables such as carrots, cabbage and other products from the countryside.
The official assured that in all variants the men and women who make up the group care about the quality of what is manufactured to achieve the satisfaction of the people.
