Cuba appreciates global solidarity against the United States blockade

Havana, 28 Apr. - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, thanked today the demonstrations of solidarity with his country, which monthly protagonists friends and countrymen in various regions of the world against the blockade imposed by the United States.

The head of the Cuban diplomacy highlighted on social network X (formerly Twitter) that there are already more than three years of uninterrupted caravans against the blockade, in which the demands to end the hostile policy do not stop.

The Foreign Ministry shared on the platform images of friends in solidarity with Cuba in Argentina, Bahamas, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Canada, demanding an end to the economic, commercial and financial siege.

In Bolivia, dozens of people from various left-wing forces expressed their repudiation of the blockade in the Plaza Mayor of San Francisco, in La Paz.

Graduates of the Latin American School of Medicine, members of the Bolivian Guevarist Movement/ELN, representatives of the Bolivian Communist Party and its youth organization, and activists affiliated with the Bolivian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba-La Paz, were involved in this mobilization.

Since 1992, the international community has ratified in the United Nations its rejection of the American blockade, a unilateral policy reinforced at unprecedented levels during the impact of the United Nations19 with the clear intention of strangling the economy of the Caribbean country to provoke a regime change.
