Camagüey, May 2.- Before the deadline of April 30, the 11,617 taxpayers of the agricultural sector in Camagüey, representing 100 percent of the thirteen municipalities, managed to comply with the presentation of their Affidavit, as establishes the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT).

Osvaldo Barbarito Fernández, deputy director of the ONAT in the province, confirmed that twelve of the territories completed their obligations from personal income, out of a total of 19,214, with the exception of the capital of Camagüey, where approximately 400 taxpayers have not yet declared, However, this represents an overall compliance that exceeds 97 percent.

The extension of the hours of the municipal offices, the enabling of the service in the bank branches and visits to the homes of the contributors, were some of the measures that favored the successful completion of this procedure, required as part of Tax Law 113.

Since the beginning of each year, the ONAT puts into effect the stage of submitting the sworn declaration, favoring those who complete this step until February 28 with a five percent bonus.

The official clarified that if they also pay through the Transfermóvil or EnZona gateways, they receive another bonus apart from three percent. (Enrique Atiénzar Rivero/Radio Cadena Agramonte Collaborator) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
