Center for Science Studies in Cuba celebrates its 30th anniversary

Camagüey, June 19 - The University of Camagüey (UC) is preparing a program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Enrique Jose Varona Center for the Study of Educational Sciences (CECEDUC).

For the first institution founded by the Cuban Revolution in 1967, the CECEDUC is essential as it strengthens the training of teachers in an institution that aspires to the excellence category granted by the National Accreditation Board.

The 30th anniversary of the Center comes with a plan that will take place in the Santa Cecilia Conference Center on June 19.

After the inauguration, UC professionals could debate at the inaugural conference given by Jorge Garcia, director of the Center for Studies.

“Achievements, Impacts, and Perspectives of the Work of the “Enrique Jose Varona” Center for the Study of Educational Sciences” is the title of García’s conference. (Text and photo: Prensa Latina)
