Havana, July 11.- The Cuban company BioCubaFarma invites the international scientific and business community to participate in the third edition of the BioHabana Congress, from May 18 to 22, 2026, at the Plaza América Convention Center in Varadero, Cuba.
According to the institution's X social media profile, the event will bring together global leaders in science to drive innovation in health and biotechnology, a key stage for connecting, collaborating, and transforming the future.
On BioCubaFarma's official website, the call explains that BioHabana 2026 will be a space for convergence between science, innovation, and business, with the goal of fostering collaborative networks among researchers, opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical technology sectors.
It also states that cutting-edge topics such as cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune, neurodegenerative, and infectious diseases, chronic inflammation and aging, bioprocesses, agricultural biotechnology, regulatory science, and digital transformation in the medical industry will be addressed.
Likewise, the text adds, innovative business models and collaboration between academia and business will be discussed at a meeting that will include symposia, workshops, poster sessions, keynote addresses, and spaces for the launch of BioCubaFarma's 2026–2027 business portfolio, investments, and product catalog.
In addition, a trade fair and bilateral meetings will be held to foster strategic alliances, while also being part of a global context marked by the internationalization of R&D&I, the convergence of biological sciences with nanosciences and data science, and the comprehensive "One Health" approach, which articulates human health, food production, and environmental sustainability.
