Awards of the Cuban Academy of Sciences will be presented today

Havana, 9 Jul. - The Cuban Academy of Sciences (ACC, for its acronym in Spanish) announced that today will be awarded in this capital 95 awards in 2024 to the results of scientific research, one of the largest figures in recent years.

The presentation of these incentives and recognitions to the most outstanding institutions will take place in a ceremony at the National Hotel of Cuba.

Directors of the ACC informed exclusively to the Cuban News Agency that the award includes all specialized sectors of its sections of Agricultural and Fisheries Sciences, Technical, Natural and Exact, Biomedical, and Social and Humanistic, whose members select the proposals.

Each of the proposals is based on effects that remain valid and current in accordance with national and international scientific development, they indicated. (Text and photo: ACN)
