Camagüey's Principal Theater hosted humorous show

Camagüey, August 27 - The Principal Theater of the city of Camagüey hosted over the weekend the show ¿Qué culpa tengo yo (' How is that my fault?'), by Kike Quiñones, celebrating 30 years of artistic life of the humorist.

The show, originally conceived as a one-man show, was presented in the form of stand-up comedy, a proposal that combines the monologue with live crowd interaction and achieves greater closeness between the artist and the audience.

The renowned humorist and actor met again with the Camagüey public together with Otto Ortiz, in a show designed for adults only.

In addition to the presentations at the theater in Camagüey, they had a special one at the Encanto movie theater and in the municipality of Sierra de Cubitas.

Kike Quiñones brought to the stage beloved characters such as Bandurria, from the adventure series broadcast by Cuban Television Los pequeños fugitivos, and El Negrito, from the Cuban buffo theater, among others that have marked his artistic career.

During the last presentation, the humorist thanked the affection and sincerity of the people of Camagüey, whom he considers a critical and knowledgeable audience of the performing arts.

The show ¿Qué culpa tengo yo? is part of the summer proposals of the Provincial Center for the Performing Arts in Camagüey. (Text: Idaylen Rodríguez Rodríguez and Dayneris Maxam Vernon/Radio Cadena Agramonte) (Photos: Humberto Cid González)
