Havana, Oct 2.- The United States Coast Guard today returned to Cuba two men and a minor who had participated in an illegal departure from the country and were intercepted at sea.
The two men were transferred to the investigative body for being alleged perpetrators of criminal acts before leaving the country.
The minor was handed over to his mother, reported the Ministry of the Interior website.
With this operation, there are 74 returns from countries in the region with 1,157 returned this year.
The Cuban authorities remain firmly committed to safe and orderly migration, while reiterating the danger and life-threatening conditions represented by illegal departures from the country, as well as irresponsibly involving minors in these events. (Text and Photo: Cubasí)
