Damascus, Dec 14. - Israeli forces occupied several locations located on the border strip in the southwestern Syrian province of Quneitra, and attacked numerous military positions.
Zionist tanks and armoured personnel entered the villages of Um Batinah and Jubata Al-Khashab in Quneitra, where the military demanded that the villagers hand over any pieces of weapons in their possession.
Something similar happened in other communities located along the separation line, while inhabitants of the area reported that the tanks reached the outskirts of the city of Beit Jinn, which is administratively belonging to Damascus-campaign province.
The Israeli air force also launched dozens of raids on military installations and units in Sweida and Damascus-campo provinces in the south of the country, Latakia and Tartous in the west, and in the Qalamoun and Messiaf regions.
The attacks targeted radar bases, ammunition warehouses, weapons plants and scientific research centres, and bombed the Dumeir air base, located east of this capital.
Prensa Latina here saw loud explosions and columns of smoke rising from the mountains around Damascus where the units of the Republican Guard and the Fourth Division are deships.
During the first three days in a row at the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government, Israel's army launched the largest air operation in its history where 350 fighters destroyed nearly two thousand 500 sites, destroying all Syria's military capabilities built since the independence of this nation in 1947 to date.
