In X, the head of State also recognized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a meritorious and effective record of service, "which fills our people with pride and exalts the name of Cuba in any corner of the world."
For his part, the head of the Minrex, Bruno Rodríguez, stated on the same social network that these 65 years revolutionary diplomacy has defended the Homeland, the Revolution and Socialism with commitment, discipline and unity.
"We congratulate all those who have contributed to the #MinrexLegacy," he added.
On December 23, 1959, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba was established, at the proposal of Raúl Roa, in order to diplomatically confront the hostile offensive of the United States.
