Camagüey, Jan 11.- With greater preparation, organization and depth, the Municipal Administration Council evaluated different issues in its first meeting corresponding to this year.
A large part of the meeting was dedicated to analyzing the state of the approaches included in last year's Economy Plan, which performed at 25 percent for objective and subjective reasons.
The members of that body approved the territorial and urban planning plan, which includes a group of tasks aimed at improving the housing stock of the capital of Camagüey.
Likewise, they debated the progress of the autarky Program (local production of construction materials), which did not achieve the expected results, even with the potential of the territory.
Another issue examined in detail was related to the banking process, which, although progressing, still has much to do to resolve the population's dissatisfaction in this regard.
The Municipal Administration Council of Camagüey also followed up on the measures adopted for the implementation of Instruction No.3 of the Prime Minister, related to energy savings. (Text and photo: Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey)
