ALBA-TCP rejects revocation of order that eliminates Cuba from the list

Caracas, January 22.- The member states of ALBA-TCP today categorically rejected President Donald Trump's decision to revoke the order that eliminated Cuba from the list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism.

The Latin American and Caribbean integration bloc strongly objected to “this act of arrogance that seeks to cause serious harm to the noble Cuban people.”

It also demanded the withdrawal of Cuba from “that list, made to the ideological measure of imperialism,” and expressed his absolute solidarity with the firm determination of sovereignty and dignity of that sister nation.

The Bolivarian Alliance for Our Americas People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed that former President Joe Biden publicly recognized what the international community has always confirmed: “That Cuba does not sponsor terrorism and has always fought against that scourge in any of its forms.”

Therefore, it stated, “this arrogant decision by the president-elect only demonstrates the level of mockery and contempt towards the Latin American and Caribbean people.”

The ALBA-TCP warned that the world today faces the imposition of erratic, abusive, criminal and illegal measures in a totally shameless and unpunished manner, by an administration that promotes hatred and causes deep deficiencies for the purposes of domination. (Text and Photo: Cubasí)
