Havana, Jan. 24.- Donald Trump has exhibited the criminal attitude he already held in the previous one. Without any moral or legal basis, its stuff has been explained in international planes with the media spectacularity of an egotist and convicted criminal magnate. Against Cuba in particular the "Republican" takes up the viciousness with which he had already reinforced the blockade with extreme measures that his predecessor "Democrat" maintained despite promises of electoral purposes.
Once again the imperialist nature of a system that violates human rights in the world and its accumulated rage in the face of a reality that has not achieved or be able to twist: the ability of Cuba to defend its sovereignty and the search for living conditions that his people deserve to have and the imperialist forces insist on preventing him.
To deprive it of that achievement, the United States government established the blockade more than six decades ago, and one after another its administrations have seen their efforts fail, although they have caused serious damage to Cuba.
The president who has returned to the White House is the same as, going to lie and manipulation in a media war that does not cease, in addition to reregarding the blockade against the Cuban people, he tried to annihilate it by multiple ways, even depriving him of oxygen, masks and other resources to face a lethal pandemic.
With creativity and effort Cuba achieved vaccines of proven effectiveness, which continue to deserve planetary admiration, in spite of the slanderous propaganda of the same nation that was far from being able to handle the pandemic as their own people needed, and that has been complicit or copatrocer of monstrosities such as genocide in Palestine.
It takes a lot of cynicism to proclaim that the measures taken to strangle the Cuban people seek to defend their freedom. Cuba was released in 1959 against a tyranny supported by the empire that Trump represents today, and the Cuban people will continue to resolutely face the imperialist forces.
If something they will achieve, it will be to ratify it in the decision to overcome how much obstacle is put in their way, and do everything you need in pursuit of the collective good. Thus he will maintain the dignity that so much blood and so much sweat has cost him to achieve, in front of an Empire whose chances portray him in his murderous nature and his irreversible decline.
