UJC: Cuban youth condemn the criminal yankee attack against Venezuela

Havana, January 3 – The United States Government has perpetrated state terrorism against the people of Venezuela and our region. It is a grave assault on Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace. The "Trump Corollary" is taking Venezuelan lives, shamelessly and under false pretexts, violating the peace and tranquility of the entire region.

In the name of the new generations, we denounce and urgently demand a reaction from the international community. Acts of barbarism against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela cannot go unpunished.

Cuba has systematically warned of and denounced the grave threat of the U.S. Government's military deployment against sister Venezuela. Today, the United States has directly attacked the people of Venezuela, firing upon civilians and military personnel.

We will not be passive witnesses to the old imperial script written in blood on our continent. We will not normalize the barbarism against the brotherly people of Venezuela.

The aggression flagrantly violates the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter and International Law; it is an affront to the self-determination and sovereignty of the Venezuelan people.

Cuban youth, forged in struggle and resistance, stand alongside Venezuela. We stand with the Venezuelan people and youth who mobilize in the streets and on social networks, who defend the Great Homeland with Bolivarian dignity. We see in them the children of Chávez. Their struggle is also ours.

Cuban youth stand alongside the Homeland of Bolívar and Chávez. We are defenders of peace. Together, with our young and rebellious souls, we promise to always be loyal to the brotherhood between our nations. Always loyal to Fidel and to Chávez. (Text and photo: Juventud Rebelde Digital)
