Raúl and Diaz-Canel tour Western Army Headquarters

Havana, Jan. - Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the National Defense Council, made a visit this Thursday to the Western Army Headquarters, as part of the activities carried out in the second stage of Strategic Bastion Exercise 2024.

According to the presidential site, Major General Ernest Feijoó Eiro, head of the Western Army, specified the main activities carried out in the interest of the armed struggle and the defense of the Western Strategic Region.

Among the topics that were also the subject of analysis is the participation of the people in the tasks of defense as an essential principle of the Cuban military doctrine of the War of All People.
