Camagüey, Apr 22nd.- Leading with empathy and unity is key to the success of Maide López García, who leads the Business Unit of Commercial Territorial Base of the Light Industry (Encomil) in Camagüey-Ciego de Ávila. Thanks to these qualities, it has led its collective to receive for the fourth time the status of the National Vanguard Collective of the Cuban Worker’s Central.
Motivated by these values, in the first quarter of the year they reached sales of 28 million pesos, far surpassing the plan of 20 million pesos. In addition, they plan to close 2025 with a figure of 107 million, driven by online sales, retail offers with electronic payment options and commitments to different companies.
The Encomil team consists of more than thirty workers, mainly founders and committed young people, who work as a united family. They face challenges in a team spirit and dedication, demonstrating that unity and empathy are key to achieving their goals.
Despite the challenges, the economic indicators are positive, reflecting the profits and efficiency in the transport of products. López García stressed that they continue to enhance e-commerce as one of the main alternatives to generate income, constantly looking for new goods, ways to promote their offers to the people and meet the needs of different audiences through various platforms.
She also stressed the importance of communicating information in a timely and verifiable manner to each area of the organization. Encomile is characterized by being a model entity in the light industry, which diversifys its products and marketing channels.
