Commercial Circulation between trade priorities in Camagüey

Camaguey, May 22.- The low levels of income from commercial circulation were present during the past 2024 and in the first months of the current stage, a problem that requires comprehensive action in order to place the province in a better financial situation.

Although the causes, at least the fundamental ones, are identified, it is necessary to implement work schemes that allow to expand the horizons because within the working premises for the year they are complying with the profit plan, reducing the accounts payable and charging and raising sales through electronic channels, among others.

It is clear from the various ministerial assessments to the territory that there are conditions for reversing the negative numbers that mark the work of the sector, and insist on how beneficial it would be to generalize good practices.

Gastronomy has a decisive weight in economic management and must be more successful in the mechanisms implemented by the country in the form of leases, for example, and in the link with the self-employed sector, since it is unthinkable that given the present limitations the offers can be sustained only with centralized deliveries.

In a very recent visit, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Trade (MINCIN), Inalvis Smith, urged that both wholesale producers and marketers contribute more in order for Camagüey to emerge from the negative indicators of commercial circulation.

It was also called to strengthen the control of State Trade activity and the Central Commercial Register, and it is necessary to pay all the necessary attention to multisectoral integration into the Family Care Systems.

Another issue that gravitates within the sector, without immediate solutions, is that of accounts receivable and pay, in many cases out of order, without forgetting the need to find out of idle and slow-moving products that still remain in warehouses.

Consumer protection is a policy of permanent compliance and it is essential that no complaints or population concern be left unattached within the stipulated time.

However, material deficiencies are an intention of MINCIN to protect the various social programmes.

The challenges are enormous but, as claimed, there is a human potential with knowledge and managers with sufficient experience to propel Camaguey to an advanced position. (Source: Adelente Digital Newspaper)
