Camagüey, Apr 30th. - The Territorial Division of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) in Camaguey is enthusiastically preparing for the celebration of May Day, a date on which the province stands out for its important contributions in political and trade union work.
The collective of the institution received the distinction of Always Young, awarded by the National Bureau of the Union of Young Communists of Cuba, in recognition of its outstanding performance in economic, agricultural and social tasks. That is why the members of the Base Committee will open the parade on this day.
The organization was also awarded the Status of National Avant-garde of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, which received the Sierra de Cubitas Telecommunications Partners Center. Also the localities of Nuevitas and their Telecommunications Agents were recognized in the union emulation.
Approximately 760 workers accompanied by their families are expected to participate, who will parade next Thursday with a commitment to maintain the vitality and progress of services in remote cities and communities. In a complex scenario, its main objective is to contribute to the computerization of society and the digital transformation of the country.
