Florida, Camagüey, Apr 30th. - The Rolando Valdivia Tobacco Factory collective of the municipality of Florida materializes the production plans planned in the months after this year, as part of the actions they dedicate to greeting the main ephemeral of the world proletariat and the Tobacco Worker's Day to be celebrated on May 29.
To achieve these results, the more than 70 men and women directly linked to production take advantage of the working day and work until the weekends to fulfill the export commitment of this precious product.
Industry operators also contribute to food sovereignty with the planting of cassava, sweet potato, banana and other agricultural varieties in the areas surrounding the centre, whose crops help improve the food that is made in the workers' dining room.
