Camagüey, May 8th. - A fire at the base of the National Bus Base of Camagüey on Wednesday night caused the total loss of three teams, without any human damage being reported.
Despite this, the planned routes from the province will not have an impact, according to the director of the Base Business Unit located in the Jayamá distribution, Reinier Gómez Muñoz.
The manager explained that the fire spread from one of the vehicles to the other two, parked in the workshop about three meters from each other, for repair work.
After suffocating the flames by specialized forces of the Fire Corps, the Ministry of the Interior, with the support of water pipes from different sectors, the severe damage to the glasses, bodies, seats, curtains and other accessories could be seen.
The relevant authorities immediately began the investigation to determine the causes of the incident.
