Russia explains to the United Nations why Zelensky does not want peace

Moscow, May 31 – Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, asserted this Friday that Ukrainian regime leader Vladimir Zelensky does not want to end the conflict with Russia and explained that he is afraid of losing power.

The senior diplomat's remarks were made during the United Nations Security Council meeting, requested by Moscow, on European attempts to hinder the peace process surrounding Ukraine.

"The backward Ukrainian president does not want to stop military operations because he fears losing power. After all, he will have to hold elections and answer to the voters for what he has turned Ukraine into during these six years, and take responsibility for the hundreds of billions of dollars in budget funds and Western aid, mainly American, that have been looted," Nebenzia said.

The Russian representative also stated that the Ukrainian regime's European allies also do not want Moscow and Kyiv to sign a peace agreement. The senior diplomat explained the reluctance of European countries to stop the conflict because they want to achieve Russia's defeat or at least severe bleeding. Nebenzia pointed out that European countries order Zelensky and his gang to continue fighting until the last Ukrainian, forcing the Kyiv regime to capture the last Ukrainian men on the streets and throw them into a senseless meat grinder.

In this context, the senior diplomat asserted that all statements by Western politicians involved in the Ukrainian crisis are directed specifically at US President Donald Trump, in the hope that, through blatant manipulations and omissions, they can prevent him from establishing relations with Russia.

Thus, we know that Trump is constantly being fed information about Russian attacks on Ukrainian military facilities, presenting them, contrary to the facts, as deliberate attacks on civilian targets, he emphasized. (Text and photo: RT)
